Google Direct Answer is fucked up (sometimes)

You guys probably saw already that Google tends to answer directly to questions in the search result page. So, theoretically, you can read the answer right away without going and read the whole article, from which that answer is actually taken. That thing is called : Direct Answer Box, and it’s part of Google’s plan on expanding the knowledge graph.

I was just making some searches (yeah, I should read a book next time), and I typed in “diet coke bad for you” in Google.co.uk from Germany.

Here is the result Google presented to me:

DREAM IN THREE SCENES

FIRST SCENE

I was going up on a hill with my father. It was snowing really hard one minute, and the next thing I know, the snow was not there anymore.

I arrived to the top of the hill, when I decided to go back down.

SECOND SCENE

As soon as I reached the valley, my brand new phone slipped into the water, and my father laughed.

THIRD SCENE

We needed to take a plane to Bangkok, me and you. But I asked you not to take it, to do something else, and you told me you were afraid of that plane too.

You were the first person who told me about the tragic news of the death of who I consider like a father, who was going up and down the hills (Up The Hills Backwards, from Scary Monster, one of my favorite song of his), and you are scared to get on that plane, like me. The same plane that probably was taken the person who “dropped the cellphone down below“.

Exactly like the phone that dropped down in the water, while my father was laughing.

Something from November

Hola guys!

so you know…music is everything for me. So I thought: November is done, and I listened to a lot of music. I’m lucky because I talk every day about music with my peeps, and I love when they suggest me some good tunes.

Tonzu: a brand that cares

I’m vegetarian.

Every time I move to a new city I need to discover new veggie products, like tofu, tempeh and so on.

In New Zealand, I found a great brand. It’s called Tonzu . I buy Tonzu products every week, they are good and healthy.

The other night, Giulia and I decided to eat organic tempeh with vegetables, and we found a surprise.

There was a small golden-color plastic filament coming out of my tempeh. Nothing dangerous, but still something you don’t expect to find in your plate.

Since I care about companies doing great stuff, I decided to write them, telling what I found and attaching a photo showing what I was talking about.

After one day, Tonzu General Manager Jesse Chalmers answered me back.
